A Very Tall Air Balloon Centerpiece for Weddings and Events

0 A Very Tall Air Balloon Centerpiece for Weddings and EventsJudy demonstrates an economical way to make a very tall balloon centerpiece using air filled balloons instead of helium. This do it yourself centerpiece can be used for weddings and receptions, parties and events, including bar and bat mitzvahs. The height of the center tube can be adjusted to meet most specifications. They are a fraction of the cost of expensive helium balloons and last longer, allowing for pre-preparation and transport. Another free demonstration from A-BnC Parties and More, Inc. Thanks so much for your kind words!!! Yes, foil balloons can be used with the hand inflator, but keep in mind that foil balloons do not have a “neck” to work with so they will have to be taped together and put around the tube. We have the tubes available and usually ship out the day or next day after the order is placed. They are $3.00 per foot and can be cut to any length. The length in the video is 24″. Thanks so much for asking.

Hi, Thanks for contacting us and your kind words. The styrofoam can be used in place of the wood base. I use the styrofoam if I want to put other things on the base such as theme pieces or onion grass. It is easier to stick things into styrofoam than try to figure out how to put them in the wood base.

Thanks for sharing this nice centerpiece! I am curious how the round styrofoam is implemented within the design? You mention it would be part of the base, but the video doesn’t indicate how to utilzie it. Unless you mean that we can either use the round styrofoam or square wood as the base. Thanks for clarifying.

Yes, the hole is 5 …
Yes, the hole is 5″ in diameter and you need to cut it out of a piece of cardboard. I can send the pattern to you if you send your e-mail address. Inflate the balloon and pass it thru the hole releasing air until the balloon glides thru the hole easily. This ensures that all the balloons are the same size. Have fun and thanks for asking.

Hi, I would not recommend using helium at all. The helium does not last long and the balloons will then deflate. Air is the way to go!!!
