My niece’s cat had kittens in the home I shared with my fiancee. A plump black one started following me and curling up in my lap instead of being with the other kittens. My niece decided we shoundn’t be parted. While making my wedding gown, I put it on and before I could turn around to look in the mirror, my future mother in law told me not to move but to look over my shoulder. There was the kitten, curled up comfortably on the train. Now 6, he has slept with us every night since our wedding.
